Happy New Year

First, we want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!!

For a Christmas gift for Ben, I made up some pictures of Riley...they came out so adorable. She was 3 1/2 weeks in the pictures....I also put up a picture of her on Christmas day, at 5 weeks old!

4 weeks old!

We can't believe it...Riley is already 4 weeks old! She is doing wonderful! She is strong and healthy! Riley looks a lot like her mommy when she was a baby, but has curly hair ( after her bath and the next day) like her father. We are hoping that her eyes will be blue like her daddy but I have a feeling they will be brown. She can "throw" herself onto her side already and holds her head up very strongly. Ben and I are just so in love with her!

Riley Marie has finally joined us!

Riley Marie Foster was born on 11/20/08 at 2:55am. Riley weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Labor and delivery was not as bad as either Ben or I thought, which is great because this means we will definitely have another! Riley is soo beautiful! There was a lot of miconium in the water and she had to be watched carefully at first but everything ended up being just fine!

So Ben and I are patiently awaiting the 17 days until Riley's expected arrival date! Okay, well we are not so patiently waiting! We are so excited and just can't wait to meet our little one! I had a doctor's appointment today and have dropped a centimeter. Hopefully she is on her way and will be a healthy happy baby!!
